Healthcare in Oman has grown drastically over the last few years and continues to grow. This growth has sprouted in the form of emergency medicine units and departments throughout the country.
Furthermore, the introduction of Emergency Medicine Residency program in 1999 (one of the earliest programs in the region) gave the specialty its unique identity.
In May 2013, establishment of Oman Society of Emergency Medicine spread the word of EM into new dimensions, through introduction of various projects serving the public.
With the addition of this website, all emergency medicine stakeholders will find themselves capable of improved communication and discussion.
